Internship | radio newsroom
At Bauer Media Radio, working across Greatest Hits Radio, I gained experience in radio news production by attending daily editorial briefings, monitoring the latest news and helping to write and prepare news bulletins. I sourced and contacted contributors, arranged interviews and conducted conversations to gather relevant information and audio. I wrote and produced news bulletins for broadcast on burli, ensuring they were clear, accurate and engaging.
True North Productions
Internship | Junior researcher
Worked as a Junior Researcher on the factual series Yorkshire by the Sea and Devon & Cornwall, supporting production from development through filming. Responsibilities included sourcing and interviewing contributors, conducting background research and compliance checks, creating shoot plans, coordinating logistics, assisting on location, and gaining practical experience with industry-standard camera equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Following my contribution to the productions, my contract was extended by an additional week to continue supporting the team through the filming process.

Internship | eDITORIAL pLACEMENT
Created news articles, digital content and video stories for Music News Blitz and Travel News Blitz, while developing SEO/GEO knowledge and editorial writing skills. Following the placement, I was invited to stay on as part of the team to co-produce a podcast, supporting research, scripting and story development.
